The Fire Awareness Course is aimed at all staff (particularly new employees) in all workplaces, to help them identify and reduce the risks from fire in the workplace and in the home.	Fire extinguisher training is to ensure that the persons trained understand not just how to operate a fire extinguisher but to also understand how the extinguishing media achieves this.	Fire wardens have a role to play in assisting with the day to day management of the general fire safety precautions & procedures, our policy is to train your people within your business at your location, allowing us to cover the subjects & needs that are relevant to your business.	This training  is targeted towards all building occupants. It is necessary to prepare evacuation plans in order to have a good response in an emergency situation. Evacuation planning is one of the most important aspects of emergency management. Path selection is one of the fundamental problems in evacuation planning.

This program is useful in introducing new employees to the correct extinguisher operating techniques or as a refresher course to your entire staff. In addition to meeting OSHA safety requirements and giving your business the fire protection it deserves. This Fire Safety Training Course is suitable for Commercial and Industrial sites where large numbers of staff members can be trained in Basic Fire Safety procedures. The course is an ideal method for Management to discharge certain responsibilities under relevant State Occupational Health and Safety Act.

AFSEco. DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING TO PROVIDE

•  Attendance Register listing all the names of course participants.

•  A company and participant certificate issued - valid for 12 months.

•  All equipment used for training (fire extinguishers, course notes, etc.).
  

CLIENT TO PROVIDE:

•  Safe area for practical fire extinguisher training. (As a guide a cleared/clean car park area).

•  Suitable Training room.

•  Provision for the Trainer’s Vehicle and Equipment.

•  Typed list of Participants Attending. (Faxed or emailed prior to agreed training date)

BOOKINGS

Bookings require a confirmation FAX, or E-MAIL containing participants names. Also the contact name, phone number and postal address of the person responsible for the invoice. Our finance department will issue an invoice at the completion of the course.

Please Note: Seven days notice is required for cancelations. If registered students do not attend, they will still be invoiced. We would appreciate the use of a classroom and an open area where live fire and extinguishers can be demonstrated.
